Video File Format

Depending on your own system, computer, browser, media viewer, you will need to assess which is the most suitable format of the video files to download. You will need to do this prior to downloading, as each individual file format incurs a separate charge. It is only for the DOWNLOAD option that you need to worry about this – the PPV will work for the majority of computer systems.

Certain file formats work fine on a PC but do not play on the iPad. You will need to check which file formats you can play – it will often depend on the Video Player you are using. For example, most systems are compatible with the Flash Video files (FLV) but these do not run on iPads or iPhone – you would require either the MP4 (smaller size and less quality) or the H.264 (MOV) versions.

VIDEO FORMATS AVAILABLE

FLV (Flash Video) version will work on most PCs/Macs
MP4 version (a much smaller and lower resolution version & smaller file size) for iPad or iPhone usage.
MOV (H.264 video codec) this is one of the most common file formats, along with FLV and can play on most systems.

Most PCs/Macs will have Flash Player installed – if you need it, you can download it for free from the Adobe Flash Player website.
